Travel.. One of the most beautiful gifts in the world. A privilege, free enlightenment you could say. A chance to immerse yourself in a culture so different than yours.
I've experienced everything from emergency airplane landings in Berlin to volunteering in the middle of a jungle in Cambodia, with my soul mate by my side. I have been traveling literally since I was 1 year old. In 1991 my mom, who immigrated from Poland to Canada, through Italy, decided she wanted to travel back to Europe to show off the new addition to the family. I was a tiny little thing, and the only thing I remember from that early in my life, was that travel was going to be something very important to me as a person. I knew it was going to be something that sculpted my frame of mind towards this world. . and wow did it ever.
Every year I would fly to Poland or Italy to visit my family. Vancouver International Airport became so familiar to me it was awesome. I felt like I was an employee of the airport at the age of 6. The feeling I had for the travel and airline industry was definitely passion and I've never looked back. =)
As I learn how to blog and share everything I know about this wonderful planet, I sometimes find myself wondering what the heck I'm going to be posting about. I would never consider myself a professional traveler, I'm not even sure there is such thing, but I know I want to share my stories and hear stories from other fellow wanderlusters. =)
Stay positive, Aga Mira <3
